How the Systems Works

Water is piped from the water main into a holding tank then pumped by a pressure pump, usually 3hp (2.2Kw) single or three phase, into a polyethylene pipe out to the solenoid valves near the square. Three polyethylene pipes to be piped around square each connecting to two high capacity pop-up sprinklers. Two sprinklers along long side and one in middle of ends.

The solenoid valves, which are linked to the controller by 0.8mm low voltage cable laid with the pipe. Normally closed, the valves are opened by the controller for an individually pre-determined time, allowing sprinklers to operate in pairs.

The controller has three independent programs with 4 start times per program for a total of up to 12 start times per day. Watering times shall be available from 1 to 99 minutes in 1-minute increments per station. Controller has a weekly 7-day calendar or a 1 - 31 days interval watering, that allows user to choose day(s) of week for desired watering. Operation shall be available in automatic, semi-automatic and manual modes. Battery back-up shall retain the time when there is power cuts. The controller has a none volatile memory, therefore the battery is not required to maintain the program settings. All programming shall be accomplished by use of a programming dial and selection buttons with user feedback provided by a LCD display.
The control panel is pre-wired with one connection box for ease of installation. The control panel also incorporates a low water cut out linked to a low level float switch to be installed in the water tank.
